Andy Choi, Dan Hong, and Pilseon Jun observed that many startups in Korea and other Asian countries were using Excel to manage their cap tables, stock options, and stakeholder information. As former venture capitalists, they recognized this as a pressing issue and set out to develop software infrastructure to address it.
